FIRST BAND: Combichrist
AMAZEMENT LEVEL: 21 out of 10
REACTION: _{they were the first opening band, and i'd never heard them before, so of course i was ignorant to them and unsure as to whether or not they'd be cool. boy was i suprised! i really liked the drummer and singer, but that other guy...you know, the one over there on the stage...was a bit strange >.>
BUT WHO CARES!
they totally rocked my short little ankle socks.

SECOND BAND: The Birthday Massacre
AMAZEMENT LEVEL: -3,465 out of 10
REACTION: _{the singer annoyed me, the guitarist in front of me was a cross between a Marilyn Manson and Gene Simmons wannabe, and i couldn't even discern any of the instruments from each other or make out what the lyrics were. of course, this could be partially due to the fact that there were three HUGE speakers in my face, but who can say.
all in all, i didn't care for them one bit--though they may sound better when not playing live, so i can't really say they sucked.

FINAL BAND: Mindless Self Indulgence
AMAZEMENT LEVEL: IT WAS OVER NINE THOUSAAAANNNND!!!
REACTION: _{despite the fact that the techies took ages to set up and MSI decided to prolong our agony by coming out whenever they saw fit, it was totally worth all the pain and torment of my feet and lower back screaming at me and having to listen to the previous band. Jimmy was epic, as the rumors i've heard go: he pranced about the stage with his pants half way down his ass, dry humping a number of things, and occasionally stuffed the mic down the front of his pants.
win~
oh, and i totally caught Steve Righ?'s glove--though and i had to wrestle it away from some bitch behind us, but it's all good (:
[aaand when i went to get my ticket signed by the Righ?, he asked me to have his children's children [X]
Jimmy's an idol of mine, Lyn-Z is hot [from what i'm told], Kitty is the most metal drummer evarrr, and i daresay i'm quite partial to Steve.}

overall, i have to say that it pays to have friends who know people who will arrive to a concert three hours early to sit in front of the place and allow whomever they know get in line with them.
i absolutely love Kali for it now 83
